
Role-playing and NPC interactions are achieved through what they call a “vignettes system" - which allows the game master to create “text cards” which in turn allow players as adventurers within the custom game to pick between different dialogue, decision options, and dice-based skill checks. Game masters will also be able to use Divinity: Original Sin 2's modding tools to build their own battle arenas, villages, unique dungeons, and plenty of other classic fantasy adventure style settings. The customization will feature a huge range of included pre-built settings and character models to create custom combat and role-playing encounters.
